Settings shows which AI tools are ready and lets you repair or remove them. The Base editor remains available without them.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
Check your PC.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Base does not require an NVIDIA GPU. Advanced visual AI is tested on a NVIDIA GPU with 16 GB VRAM; available memory also matters.
Internet for the download. Allow about 14.9 GB for Advanced AI, plus space to unpack it and save your clips. Local inference does not upload your video to a cloud AI provider.
AI components and installation checks
Advanced includes Silero speech timing, whisper.cpp transcription, multilingual Whisper, Qwen3-VL visual review, LAION CLAP audio evidence, and the Qwen3-0.6B base for optional personal-writer training. A personal writer is not activated by installation.
Exact installed packs are reused. Downloads are checked by size and SHA-256, and their files and dependencies are verified before activation. An interrupted installation leaves the working Base app available.
